The magic of a hem

last week i picked up these grandma shorts at the thrift store, I thought if I just hem them a little lot they will be cute. And since I don't have any shorts like this, for just $3 I couldnt pass it up! Not going to lie, it did take me like 2 hours to hem them. Apparently it's really hard for me to make both legs even. lol I'm really happy how they turned out so it was worth it.

  8. Love it. I love your DIY projects.. I love what you did with the pants. I kinda like it before too.. it accentuates the waist in the before shot.. Could you do a post on DIY projects.. My friend gave me a sewing machine and I've yet to touch it cuz I havent got the slightest clue on how to work it..

  10. Wow, 3$!!! That's about 2 Euros. In the bancarelle here in Rome, they would go for a minimum of 5 or 6 Euros. But that's the price you have to pay for made-in-Italy clothes:)) I'm glad to hear you'll be coming to Rome in September. I will definitely be posting more advice about Rome. I will be going back to Sicily in September by the way, so I'll be glad to give you any information you need. If there is anything in particular you would like to know please let me know, both about Rome or Sicily. Where in Sicily will you be going, do you know already? I'm from the Trapani area, the north-western part of Sicily. Glad to meet you. I'm following you!
