When In Rome

Rome was so much fun. There were so many things we wanted to see so we were up and out early both days. It's true that you can walk everywhere but if your not familiar with the area you need to make sure you have a good map and very comfortable shoes. Thankfully our hotel was in the middle of the city so we were pretty close to everything. We still go lost a few times lol

First up was the Colosseum. I would really recommend going inside and also paying a little extra for the tour. You get to go straight in and not wait on the long line. We got a tour for the Colosseum, the Vatican & museum, and the Sistine Chapel. All of these places had ridiculously long lines. So I say go for the tour. Then the other stuff like the Trevi Fountain, The Spanish Steps, and the Pantheon, are all free.

You're not allowed to take pictures inside the Sistine Chapel so I can't share the awesome-ness of it but believe me, it is insane! You have got to see it if you havent already!

The Trevi Fountain

The Vatican.
This place is amazing. Everything inside is huge and so detailed.

this looks like a painting right? It's not, it was all done with mosaic. Pretty cool huh?!
I mean really, look at the size of these angels...they were bigger than me!
This was in a museum near the Vatican..look at that ceiling!!

Even the doors in Rome are huge but the cars are tiny lol

I can't wait to go back.
Is it crazy that we're already planning our next vacation?!
