Last week my sister called me for some help updating her work wardrobe. She has lots of basic black pants and plain shirts. So the first thing I did was went to Polyvore and styled up three outfits she can use as inspiration when she goes shopping. I want her to add some fun pieces that she can mix in with stuff she already has and wear multiple different ways. She told me her office isn't really strict, she can wear colored pants as long as they're not jeans. So I went all in and picked out orange skinny pants. lol That was her favorite one!
I wanted to share in case any of you need some work inspiration also.
Sweater dresses are awesome for the fall and winter. Just add thick tights, booties, and fun accessories.
You can also wear them when the wear starts warming back up, just lose the tights.
A pop of color to bring up those Monday blues.. Keep the rest neutral for an appropriate work look.
Outside of the office: wear it with a denim shirt and cognac boots for a cute weekend look.
I love pencil skirts mixed with a fun laid back t-shirt or sweater. My sister isn't big on pencil skirts, I'm trying to get her on board so I told her she can easily switch out the skirt for a slim crop pant. I love the J.Crew Minnie
Do you have to dress up for work? What does your office style look like?!
