Vintage dress.

Oh hey! Remember me?! 

It's been a while since my last post.

I just check. Over a month! Shheesh that's pretty bad.. sorry 

Anywhooo.. I call this little black dress the one that got away. 

I bought it for my store and sold it before I could even put it online. 

Now that I look back I kinda wish I would have kept it! 

It's just a simple black dress, but I love it so much. The fit and fabric are amazing. 

{Sigh} They'll be another.. right?! 

Two ways: Oversize Coat

Outfit 1: All For You.. vintage coat/ thrift plaid shirt/ H&M faux leather leggings/ Forever21 booties

Outfit 2: All For You... vintage coat/ H&M dress/ Clark bootes/ bought scarf while in Morocco (similar) 

I've really been into oversized coats and colored coats this season. So I was excited when I found this vintage green overcoat for the shop. Two in one!! It also has an awesome boxy fit that's been trendy lately. Isn't it funny how almost all styles come back around?! That's why I love thrift/vintage shopping. Plus vintage is just made so much better than a lot of the stuff made now. 

I've been holding back from wearing this coat, but it's been sitting in my office staring at me-- begging to be styled up! lol What do you think of these looks? Are you into boxy-oversized-colored coats?!

I've worn this same outfit twice. #repeatoffender lol But I've never posted it on the blog, so it never really happened right?! Right.

Talking about great deals (yesterday's post) I bought these awesome green cargo pants at Urban Outfitters for $10. I love them, but they are the type of pants to get baggy after wearing them for a few hours. Maybe that's why they were on sale..?! lol

Vintage

Can I just tell you how much I love this coat?! I just found it at a thrift store this weekend, and could not wait to wear it. You would not believe how much it cost! Guess... a whole $5!! Insane..no? I've found my share of really inexpensive stuff at thrift stores, but never like this.

I thought about selling it for a second, but I don't have any coats like this-- so I'm not giving it up! One of the hardest parts about having my shop, is not keeping everything for myself so I deserve this one..lol

Winter white: Party Outfit!

It's Christmas Eve!! Tonight Josh and I will be having all of our family and friends over for a Christmas/ House Warming party. I am so excited! We stayed up late cooking, cleaning, and doing last minutes decor updates around the house. Right now my mom is at the house keeping an eye on the penril (yummy pork, my favorite!) While Josh and I are at work-- thank god for moms right?! : ) 

This is what I'll be wearing for the party. This skirt is my favorite, I've only wore it one time during the summer so I wanted to dress it up for the holidays. And nothing says holidays like a sequin jacket! I just have to wear it.

Three Holiday looks

First outfit: TopshopDress, Nasty gal shoes, NYX lipstick 

Second outfit: H&M Sweater, Topshop pant & shoes, rings

Third outfit: H&M Faux leather leggings, Boohoo peplum, Zara heels, Earrings 

Since Josh and I purchased our first home this year, we will be hosting our families Christmas party at our house. Of course Josh's first thought was what are we going to cook? Mine was what am I going to wear?! lol Kidding....maybe. ; ) 

I'm not sure if I want to go all out glam, laid back chill, or somewhere in between. So I put together an inspiration board of three looks I think could work for any type of Holiday Party. Are you going to any holiday parties? What will you be wearing?

Plaid + Stripes

Same tee, boyfriend jeans, and booties as the last post. Is that so wrong?! Oh well, this is real life. I re-wear/remix my clothes all the time. Sometimes two days in a roll. ; )

I even wore this plaid shirt again on Thanksgiving with black tights and booties!

Vintage knit + Stripes

All For You Vintage knit sweater/ BDG Stripe t-shirt/ Aeropostale boyfriend jeans(thrifted)/ Clark booties

This sweater is definitely one of my favorites in the shop right now. It's cozy and perfect for layering during the colder days. Which we just got around here.. it dropped to 25 degrees Sunday night! I've been trying not to wear these booties everyday, but they're just so cute and go with everything! I love that they have a small heel but are still so comfortable.

Layer it up

Zara coat/ Thrifted denim jacket/ Vintage top/ H&M jeans/ Clark booties

My favorite part about the fall is the layering. I have way more thin jackets than coats, so as soon as it gets chilly I layer all of them together to keep warm. My favorite combo is this denim jacket and camel colored trench. Another great layering combo that always works is leather and denim. 

Not pictured is the scarf and hat I throw on for extra warmth..lol Do you layer like a crazy women too?!

Newness

Ralph Lauren top (thrifted)/ Charlotte Russe jeans/ Target boots/ Urban Outfitters beanie

This was my Saturday running errands outfit. I was so happy when I found this plaid shirt at the thrift store. Before leaving I decided to check the men's section real quick and there it was. These boots are a new purchase also. I went to Target to buy new socks and left with these instead. I was like.. I have socks at home, I need these boots! lol 

Chi-town

Earlier this week, Josh and I spent a few days in Chicago. Before we left I put together an inspiration board of what I plan to pack and wear on the plane ride.

Comfortable clothes are key when traveling. I always like to wear stretchy pants, an oversized sweater or cardigan, and easy slip on and off footwear. I knew it was going to be freezing in Chicago-- so I packed sweaters, beanies, and my favorite new booties from Clarks. (P.S. My obsession with purchasing new booties for Fall has finally been fulfilled thanks to Josh!)

I'll be back later this week with some actual photos from Chicago. Have you been or are from there? We had such a good time, were freezing most of the time, but had fun. lol

super quick post of the outfit I wore to work earlier this week. This denim vintage skirt is so cute, i had to wear it at least one time!

Spruced up Sweater

Gap Sweater (Josh's)/ Forever21 Pants, Sunglasses, & Necklace (I think)/ Shoedazzle Shoes

I've already shared my love for fun sweaters here, but plain ones do not have to be boring. By adding a statement necklace, bold lip, and fun shoes you instantly "glam up" a plain sweater. I borrowed this one from Josh, which I do a lot during the Fall and Winter. 

How weird is it that it looks like I have two different shoes on? lol I promise I don't, but for some reason the right has bigger black spots than the left. A little odd, but I like it. 

Enough rambling, I have to get ready to shoot some new clothes for my store!! 

Currently Lovin'

Sweater x Skirt x Booties x Bag

One look. All of my favorites right now. I have been loving the sweater & skirt combo. Especially a slightly oversize sweater and frilly skirt. It's prefect for this time of year. Throw in my obsession with cut-out booties and a perfect Michael Kors tote, you've got a pretty bad ass look. (IMO)

Of course, I' m still obsessed with cut out booties. (As seen here and here.) I finally bought a pair online, but when I received them they didn't fit. Biggest heart break! So I sold them to my sister. I didn't want to wait another week or two for a new pair. I'm about instant gratification. I need them now. lol
