Two ways: Oversize Coat

Outfit 1: All For You.. vintage coat/ thrift plaid shirt/ H&M faux leather leggings/ Forever21 booties
Outfit 2: All For You... vintage coat/ H&M dress/ Clark bootes/ bought scarf while in Morocco (similar)

I've really been into oversized coats and colored coats this season. So I was excited when I found this vintage green overcoat for the shop. Two in one!! It also has an awesome boxy fit that's been trendy lately. Isn't it funny how almost all styles come back around?! That's why I love thrift/vintage shopping. Plus vintage is just made so much better than a lot of the stuff made now.

I've been holding back from wearing this coat, but it's been sitting in my office staring at me-- begging to be styled up! lol What do you think of these looks? Are you into boxy-oversized-colored coats?!

Vintage

vintage wool coat/ Banana Republic sweater/ Charlotte Russe jeans/ Clark booties

Can I just tell you how much I love this coat?! I just found it at a thrift store this weekend, and could not wait to wear it. You would not believe how much it cost! Guess... a whole $5!! Insane..no? I've found my share of really inexpensive stuff at thrift stores, but never like this.

I thought about selling it for a second, but I don't have any coats like this-- so I'm not giving it up! One of the hardest parts about having my shop, is not keeping everything for myself so I deserve this one..lol

Happy Monday!!

Plaid + Stripes

Forever 21 jacket/ Josh's plaid shirt/ BDG t-shirt/ Thrifted jeans/ Clark booties

Same tee, boyfriend jeans, and booties as the last post. Is that so wrong?! Oh well, this is real life. I re-wear/remix my clothes all the time. Sometimes two days in a roll. ; )

I even wore this plaid shirt again on Thanksgiving with black tights and booties!

Vintage knit + Stripes

All For You Vintage knit sweater/ BDG Stripe t-shirt/ Aeropostale boyfriend jeans(thrifted)/ Clark booties

This sweater is definitely one of my favorites in the shop right now. It's cozy and perfect for layering during the colder days. Which we just got around here.. it dropped to 25 degrees Sunday night! I've been trying not to wear these booties everyday, but they're just so cute and go with everything! I love that they have a small heel but are still so comfortable.

Layer it up

Zara coat/ Thrifted denim jacket/ Vintage top/ H&M jeans/ Clark booties

My favorite part about the fall is the layering. I have way more thin jackets than coats, so as soon as it gets chilly I layer all of them together to keep warm. My favorite combo is this denim jacket and camel colored trench. Another great layering combo that always works is leather and denim.

Not pictured is the scarf and hat I throw on for extra warmth..lol Do you layer like a crazy women too?!

Newness

Ralph Lauren top (thrifted)/ Charlotte Russe jeans/ Target boots/ Urban Outfitters beanie

This was my Saturday running errands outfit. I was so happy when I found this plaid shirt at the thrift store. Before leaving I decided to check the men's section real quick and there it was. These boots are a new purchase also. I went to Target to buy new socks and left with these instead. I was like.. I have socks at home, I need these boots! lol

Edgy flowers.

Forever21 jacket/ Vintage dress (thrifted)/ Charlotte Russe booties

I wore this outfit a few weeks ago, but I had to put it back on and snap some pictures for the blog. It's so simple-- just a jacket, dress, and booties. But the mix of floral and leather, I love! I didn't really do anything big when I wore this, I was out of the house for just a few hours. Don't you hate when you waste a good outfit like that?! This might need a repeat. LOL

Anywhoo.. it's Friday!! Do you have any fun plans for the weekend?!

Lace + Denim

Target top/ Thrifted lace skirt/ Kenneth Cole watch

I love this skirt, I'm a little bummed that I just found it at the thrift store last week. It's already getting a little too chilly out for bare legs. I need to find a way to wear it just a little while longer before putting it away for next year. I'm thinking a graphic print tee, denim jacket and booties next..

I'm also bummed I couldn't get better photos, but I had on these leopard flats with this outfit.

This is me.

Forever21 blazer (thrifted) & shirt/ Charlotte Russe jeans & booties

Usually when I'm running late to work (which is almost everyday) I take my makeup bag with me and do it once I get to work. But Saturday I forgot it and had to go the entire day without an ounce of makeup on. Nothing. Nada.

Now I'm not a girl that packs on a ton of makeup everyday. I just use BB Cream, concealer, mascara and I'm good to go. But I've gotten so use to having it, that I felt so uncomfortable being around other people without it. I felt insecure, like people were going to look at me weird. Like "Oh girl, cover them dark circles up!" But guess what, no one did. All my usual customers were nice and carried on like normal. By the end of the day I wasn't even thinking of it anymore.

Maybe I got a little too comfortable, because I went sans makeup again today. (Which are these photos)

Do you ever go without makeup?

This is what I wore when Josh and I spent the day in the city on Tuesday. It was such a fun day! We started off with coffee and music at home while we got ready. Once in the city, we stopped into Urban Outfitters, (we can never just walk by! lol) We then went to the Chelsea Market, both of our first time. It's such a cool place with so many different places to eat. I went with fried chicken + biscuit, Josh went with roast beef sandwich. I can't wait to go back to try some other places. I would definitely recommend checking it out if you're in New York.

Then we finally headed over to Lincoln Center. It was my first time ever going for Fashion Week and I had a blast. But I honestly thought there would be more people around. Maybe since it was the time of day or because it was already the 6th day..? I'm not sure, but it was still fun to snap some pictures, hang out, and meet new people. I broke out of my shell and actually talked to other people besides Josh. One thing about me is that I'm really shy and a little awkward in person. lol So I'm happy I didn't let anxiety get the best of me and just had fun. I will for sure be going next season!

Plaid + Leopard

Target blouse/ DIY Levi's cut off/ H&M flats/ Forever21 sunnies

I wore this on Labor Day (Monday). One of the rare days both Josh and I had the day off from work. We slept in, lounged around, then went out for some Mexican dinner. Which was spicy as all hell, and I'm not a fan of spicy food. lol

The second best thing about 3 day weekends.. short work weeks. It's already Thursday! Happy almost weekend! : )

I love living so close to New York. The view from across the river never gets old. Plus being so close means I can just jump on the train and find something new and exciting. The past weekend I took my nieces to the Brooklyn Flea for the first time. I've been taking them thrift shopping and flea market strollin' this summer and it's been so much fun. I'm thinking of taking them to some museums this weekend.

I was just telling Josh, I've traveled to lots of places and always love going to museums, but I've never been to one in New York. Insane. On my list of must see: MoMA, Museum of Natural History, the Madame Tussauds, and the Museum of Sex (nieces will not be going to this one! lol)

Polka dot Midi

DIY Crop/ Vintage midi shorts: For sale in my shop/ Charlotte Russe booties

These midi shorts are one of my favorites in my shop right now. I bought them because I loved the length, the polka dots, and it has pockets! I actually thought it was a skirt at first-- it wasn't until I went to get them cleaned when I noticed they were shorts. That made me love them even more, cause then I can do silly things like the picture above..lol

P.S. Since we're moving in less than 2 weeks, I put everything in the shop on sale! Shop here : )
