DIY Crop/ Vintage midi shorts: For sale in my shop/ Charlotte Russe booties

These midi shorts are one of my favorites in my shop right now. I bought them because I loved the length, the polka dots, and it has pockets! I actually thought it was a skirt at first-- it wasn't until I went to get them cleaned when I noticed they were shorts. That made me love them even more, cause then I can do silly things like the picture above..lol

High split + Leather Jacket

Thrift dress/ Forever21 Jacket, Sunglasses & Sandals 

I've seen a few outfits on Pinterest of long flowy dresses paired with leather jackets and I just love the look. I don't have any fancy long dresses or anywhere to wear it to, so this is my way of recreating that look. I've been wanting a dress or skirt with a high split but couldn't find any that I liked, so the other night I took a pair of scissors to this dress. I'm kinda loving it.

Lately I've been rocking my natural curls a lot more, which I haven't done too much since I was a teenager. But I'm starting to like it again-- it beats standing in the bathroom for a half hour with the blow dryer. Whenever I leave my hair to air dry it gets ridiculously big and curly. On the days when I don't feel like straightening it- I just put in some Argan Oil, grab one of Josh's hats and go. What's your go-to hair style on lazy days?

I had a pink blazer over this outfit, but it was way to hot & humid outside to put it back on. I love spring and summer but I hate the humidity. I couldn't wait to put my hair up, this summer you can expect to see a whole lot of braids. 

Enough complaining, I have ahhh-mazing news! Josh and I are finally closing on a house!!!! Two years and four offers later, we finally found theee one! I cannot explain how happy I am. Next month is both of our birthdays (we're a week apart!) so this is the best gift ever. I'm already thinking of having a huge joint birthday party! Who knows if we'll even have it ready by then... probably not. hahaa.. 

Honestly, I can't believe it. We've been so close before that it's not going to feel really real until we have the keys. Until then you can find me on  Pinterest searching for more home inspiration! : )

New Favorite Skirt-- eShakti

The awesome people over at eShakti contacted me for a product review and I jumped at the chance. eShakti is a really cool online store that allows you to customize your clothing so they fit you perfectly. And we all know fit is extremely important with your clothes. 

You can change the hemline, sleeves, neckline, add embellishments. Lots of cool things! All for only $7.50--  free for your first time-- working at a dry cleaners and with the tailor daily, I know alterations are expensive... a hem alone is $20! So having the option of eShakti doing it all for you is amazing. And they have a wide range of sizing options from 0-36W.. how awesome is that?!

It was hard to pick one thing because they have so many cute dresses and skirts. I finally chose this black and cream stripe skirt and it fits perfectly. I requested the hem line above the knee, but I'm so short that it's more like at my knee. I'm totally okay with that, because I don't have any skirts like this. And I have had this picture on my inspiration board for about a year, so this was finally my chance to recreate it. I really do love my new skirt, I cannot wait to style it up a bunch of different ways this Spring and Summer!

I finally have camo jeans! I've wanted a pair for so long, but couldn't find a pair I really liked for the price I wanted to spend. While looking through the little boys section of the thrift store I found these Levi's! I almost couldn't believe it lol 

I also bought some more dresses and skirts for my store, so I should be updating it this weekend!

Two tone

Can I just start by saying I looveee this jacket!! I recently bought it from Forever 21 and have been wearing it basically everyday since I received it in the mail. I've wanted a new leather jacket for a long time now and this one had everything I wanted it one and the price was right on. I know I'll be wearing it for Spring with pretty dresses for a badass mixed with sweet girly look... Ooohh I can't wait!! lol 

I bought this shirt the same day as the jacket, obviously I'm really into two toned clothing so this shirt was a no brainer. The lace on the back is an added touch of awesome-ness.

I should start off by saying I was never a fan of white shoes, I always thought they were the tackiest thing ever! lol But lately I have be loving them! They just seem so chic, especially with outfits like this, this, andd this. SO good! The only problem is the ones I have fell in love with are all really expensive (for my budget)  But the cap toe heels above are only $75! 

How do you feel about white shoes?! Love 'em or hate 'em?!

All I need now is a tripod because trying to get Josh to take pictures of me is like is like pulling teeth. Hence why I have the serious face in two pictures. lol

I found these and a bunch of other flats I forgot all about in my mothers house yesterday.. It's like shopping when I go there!

I have a lot of first going on today.

First time wearing my new wide leg pants. That I love! They're so comfy and I bought them for just $8! I'm becoming a budget queen! I get so excited when I find awesome stuff and don't have to spend a lot of money. As soon as I get home I usually show Josh, ask if he likes it then ask, Guess how much they cost! lol

First time wearing my wedges that you can't even see Also really comfortable and inexpensive. As I was about to take a picture of them, my camera died. But they're these.

First time wearing my shirt tucked into my pants..lol I never tuck in my shirt. I do it with high waist skirts but never with pants..but I think since the pants are so wide it looked better this way.. yes? no?
