Plaid + Stripes

Forever 21 jacket/ Josh's plaid shirt/ BDG t-shirt/ Thrifted jeans/ Clark booties

Same tee, boyfriend jeans, and booties as the last post. Is that so wrong?! Oh well, this is real life. I re-wear/remix my clothes all the time. Sometimes two days in a roll. ; )

I even wore this plaid shirt again on Thanksgiving with black tights and booties!

Layer it up

Zara coat/ Thrifted denim jacket/ Vintage top/ H&M jeans/ Clark booties

My favorite part about the fall is the layering. I have way more thin jackets than coats, so as soon as it gets chilly I layer all of them together to keep warm. My favorite combo is this denim jacket and camel colored trench. Another great layering combo that always works is leather and denim.

Not pictured is the scarf and hat I throw on for extra warmth..lol Do you layer like a crazy women too?!

Spruced up Sweater

Gap Sweater (Josh's)/ Forever21 Pants, Sunglasses, & Necklace (I think)/ Shoedazzle Shoes

I've already shared my love for fun sweaters here, but plain ones do not have to be boring. By adding a statement necklace, bold lip, and fun shoes you instantly "glam up" a plain sweater. I borrowed this one from Josh, which I do a lot during the Fall and Winter.

How weird is it that it looks like I have two different shoes on? lol I promise I don't, but for some reason the right has bigger black spots than the left. A little odd, but I like it.

Enough rambling, I have to get ready to shoot some new clothes for my store!!

Oversize

Josh's sweater:Gap/ Charlotte Russe jeans/ Forever21 booties

I love wearing Josh's sweaters, they are the perfect oversized comfy, yet still cute sweater for me. He has quite a few that I get to chose from, so I have seriously been taking advantage since the temperature has been dropping quickly. Rolling up the sleeves and tucking it in a little are two easy ways to make a men's sweater work so it doesn't look sloppy.

Do you steal your boyfriends/husbands/fathers sweaters or shirts?!

Dressed down: Faux Leather

Thrift top & Karen Millen jacket/ H&M pants/ Converse

This is a super simple outfit I wore a few weeks ago. Instead of wearing normal boring jeans I decided to dress down these faux leather pants.

Videos..?

Swap jacket (unknown brand)/ Thrift Gap sweater/ Charlotte Russe jeans/ Target purse/ Shi by Journeys boots/ Gap beanie

This sweater is one of my newest thrift finds, and one of my favorites. I've been really lucky lately. I usually go to the salvation army, while it may be a little dingy and dark, I always come out with a full bag. My latest outing I bought this sweater, two maxi dress (one from Target and the other is Wildfox) and the Asos dress from this post. All for just $22! Crazy right?! I was thinking of doing a video haul next time I go shopping. I love to watch them so I thought it would be fun to make one. Is that something you would be interested in?

Painful but worth it

H&M shirt/ Charlotte Russe jeans/ Target booties/ Gap beanie

Sorry these photos are kinda crappy. I took them inside hoping the lighting would be okay, but obviously they aren't the best.

I just bought these shoes from Target the other day and I love them, but there is one problem. First I want to say.. they were on sale for $18 and they were the last pair left. The problem is that they are a half size too small! lol I tried them on in the store and they felt okay so I brought them home with me. But when I have them on too long, I sorta can't feel my toes anymore. Do you think that has stopped me from wearing them?! Nope, not at all. I just can't stand for to long..lol

Have you ever bought shoes that don't really fit well?!

Not too bad..

Thrift shirt & Jacket/ H&M Jeans/ Afaze scarf/ Shi by Journey boots/  Fossil watch & Forever21 bangles

These photos are from a long time ago.. These were taken in the backyard of my old apartment. I complained about it so much, but now I actually miss it! We live in Newark now. If you know anything about New Jersey you most likely know Newark is ghee-too! Some parts anyway, but thankfully the area we are at, doesn't seem so bad. Yea, I did see a couple that may have been on drugs (but to be honest I grew up in the projects so that's something I saw on a daily basis anyway.) They didn't bother me so it's been okay so far.

Thanks to my sister, I have a car now so I don't have to share Josh's or take 3 buses to get to work. That by the way..I tried to take a few days ago. I got on the wrong one and was two hours late to work! pshh never doing that again! lol It was a rough start but I am settling in pretty good now.
Anywhoo that's enough about what's going on in my life.. What are you up to this weekend? Any fun plans?!

I'm bizzackk

Thrift Theory sweater similar/ Charlotte Russe jeans & shoes

An actual outfit post! Woohoo..lol I love this Theory sweater- its ombre, super cozy, and was only like $4! And if you know Theory you know that is a super big price difference, that's the awesomeness of thrift shopping! This look has been my go-to for a while. Jeans (colored or regular), print or colorful sweater, and heels or boots..it's minimal easy style without being boring.

I'm off to catch up on all your blogs! ; )

Tunnel vision

Thrift blouse similar/ Target jeans (not online but these are similar)/ Aldo sandals

I have this problem that whenever I get something new, that is all I want to wear. Like these floral jeans and these burgundy pants. It's like I have tunnel vision and all I see is the new pretty thing in my closet. I get excited thinking about all the possible outfits I can create and want to wear them all right away.. lol Do you have this problem? Please don't tell me I'm alone on this one..

Layers

Karen Millen denim & knit jacket (thirfted)/ Gap vest (DIY)/ Charlotte Russe jeans/ Forever21 booties

This was one of my favorite outfits last week. It's really simple, but I like that the knit sleeves look like they belong to the vest. (It's the little things..lol) The sleeves are actually attached to the denim jacket. A recently thrift find that I have been dying to wear! I'm sure I'll combine these two again, maybe next time with a dress & boots..?

Stripes + Rust

shirt:Cheap Maggies Skirt:Thrift Belt: F21 Flats: Gift

I thought of this outfit after I saw this pin. Well, I didn't really think of it, I kinda just stole the idea. Either way I love it!

Accessorize

denim shirt & tights: Target Hat: Josh's (Gap) Earrings: Greece
Necklace: longest-borrowed from bff Middle-so old idk shortest-gift from Josh

This is a super simple outfit I wore Friday to hang out with my sister and nephew. I wanted to be comfortable but at least look like I made an effort so I mixed a bunch of necklaces together and put on my favorite big earrings I bought while Josh & I were in Greece. I think accessories are always a great way to add interest to any simple outfit.
