Christmas weekend & What I Wore the Day After.

He saw on Facebook that I wanted to try red lipstick, so he went to Sephora and bought me one. too cute.

The day after Christmas, I went for something comfy and added some color with my favorite silk scarf.

Christmas weekend was full of all of my favorite things. Family, friends, food, laughs, dancing, and drinks.

My family always celebrates on Christmas eve. So yesterday me, Josh, my parents, sister, and nieces got together and had dinner at my brothers house with his wife and her family. We had some good 'ol Spanish food. Yellow rice, pernil (pork), ham, genero (cooked bananas), rice pudding, potato salad, and so much more. Yumm everything was so good, I'm getting hungry thinking about it again! lol

Today is pretty low key. Josh has to work, so I'm going over to my mother's house to give my parents their gifts, and probably eat some more ; )

Summer '11

So this weekend marks the official end to the summer. Good thing about it is 3 day weekend! 2 days off from work. A normal weekend I guess, I always work Saturdays and usually have one day off so I'll take it!
Next weekend Josh and I are finally leaving on our vacation. We have been waiting for this since JANUARY! I thought it would never come, but we are one week away! And it's a short work week, hopefully that makes it go faster. Can you tell how happy I am yet?! lol

We were talking the other day about the things we've done this summer. I have been a broke heffa, mainly because of this vacation, so there's been a lot of budgeting. But I have done some really fun stuff, and also had exciting things happen in the family.

and the topping on the cake.. 9 day 9 night vacation!! We will be on a cruise from Rome to Sicily,Greece, & Turkey for 7 days then stay 2 days in Rome.

Love & Celebrations

I was going to do a weekend in pictures post, but after signing on to my facebook and looking at my brother and his fiances engagement pictures. almost started crying, sometimes I'm a big baby I thought I would share some of those with you. And also some from yesterdays bridal shower brunch.

Since I can remember, my brother has always had a new girlfriend, a move on-on to the next kind. I'm so happy he has found that special person to settle down and spend the rest of his life with. I couldn't be any more happy for the both of them!

This past Saturday was my sisters baby shower. Normally you have a baby shower while the woman is still pregnant, but my nephew was being fussy and wanted to come out and join us in the fun! he wasn't at the actual party cause he's still too small to have around a lot people. But family & friends came and celebrated with my sister & her boyfriend.

If you didn't know, spanish people love to turn what suppose to be a small get together into an all out fun-dancing-drinking-adult party! lol And that's exactly what we did. Danced, ate, drank a little and a lot for some. It was fun having everyone together to celebrate this newest addition to our family. Next up...my brothers wedding on the 27th!!
